Girls Rock! Brisbane (GR!BNE) is part of a national network of Australian Girls Rock! Camps.
Girls Rock! empowers girls from 10-17 years old through a week-long mentorship program that encourages creativity, self-expression and teamwork through music. It’s a safe environment for girls to express their creativity, take pride in their accomplishments and learn not to apologise for making some noise.
In the space of a week, participants are mentored by experienced musicians to form their own band, learn an instrument, watch live music performances, participate in creative workshops and write an original song that they perform at the end of week showcase.
The next GR!BNE will be Monday 23 – Friday 27 September 2019 at Backbone Youth Arts, East Brisbane.
